Patent searching class offer at Fondren Library's Patent and Trademark Resource Center

Patent and Trademark Resource Center (PTRC) at Fondren Library is offering "Patent Searching" class this Spring semester via Zoom.

The class will introduce:

• the basic of patent
• the concept of patent classification for patent searching
• how to perform a preliminary patent search using United States Patent and Trademark Office database and,
• the European Patent Office's Espacenet database 

Audience

• Independent inventors in the community.
• Rice students, staff, and faculty.
