Learn online how examiners approach petitions practice

Would you like to learn more about recent examination practice and procedure guidance for petitions practice? Attend our Virtual Instructor Led Training (vILT) course “Petitions Practice” on February 23, 24, or 25.

Our trainers will lead this course based on recent training delivered to patent examiners. The course has limited capacity, and selection for attendance is based on a first-come, first-served basis.

Sign up by Monday, February 22 to attend.

This course provides an overview of the Office of Petitions (OPET) and the impact of petitions on the examination process. You will learn basic information regarding:

  • OPET and the petition process
  • Common types of petitions
  • Recent updates to petitions practice
  • Best practices

The USPTO is applying for one hour of CLE credit in Virginia for this course.
