Invention-Con 2018

Protect Your Innovations: Learn from the Experts

If you are an inventor or business owner, make sure to register for Invention-Con 2018, coming August 17 – 18. This free two day conference will be held at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in Alexandria, VA and will run from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day.

  •  Strategies to protect your innovations with patents, trademarks, and copyrights.

Independent Inventors Conference, Alexandria, VA, Aug. 11-12, 2017

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is hosting INVENTION-CON 2017 (Independent Inventors Conference in Alexandria, VA on Aug. 11-12, 2017.

Who Should Attend?
If you are an independent inventor, entrepreneur, small business owner, or an IP professional who works with them, this conference is for you. Attendees will have an opportunity to:
  • Learn from successful business owners and inventors who will relate their personal experiences of bringing their ideas to market.
  • Attend a variety of breakout sessions and workshops designed to cover a range of information from
  • IP basics to detailed explanations on how to prepare and file a patent or trademark application.

  • Highlights of trademark-specific resources and tools.
  • Summary of requirements for application filing and demonstration of how to file on-line using our Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS).

USPTO Texas Regional Inventors Conference

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) will host its first Texas Regional Inventors Conference on  January 29, 2016, at its Texas Regional Office in Dallas, Texas.
Representatives from the Texas Regional Office and the USPTO headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia will be on hand to conduct an all-day workshop for inventors and entrepreneurs. This free event will provide valuable information about various types of intellectual property protection, the patent process, patent searching, electronic filing, and various public and private resources available to inventors and entrepreneurs.
