The USPTO’s Inventor Info Chat webinar series continues on
Feb. 15 from 11 a.m. to noon ET when we provide a presentation on claim
drafting.
Presentation overview:
- Gain awareness of the questions to answer before claiming your invention
- Learn how patent claims can be written, what to emphasize, and what to avoid
- Learn about one possible approach to drafting patent claims
We will discuss the parts of the claim and will include
claim illustrations from issued U.S. patents. The presentation will be particularly
helpful for those inventors considering filing a patent application and for
those who are currently prosecuting their patent application.
