eMod Event -- DOCX Filing and Patent Center Update

USPTO invites you to join them for one of our upcoming informational sessions on DOCX Filing and Patent Center Update.  Several members of the eMod (eCommerce Modernization) team will share information about the new structured text features, including the ability to file structured text via EFS-Web and access structured text submissions, structured text Office actions, and XML downloads via Private PAIR. The team will also conduct a demo and answer any questions. Additionally, they will share information about upcoming authentication changes for EFS-Web and PAIR, and provide updates on the new Patent Center tool. Patent Quality Chat

USPTO's Patent Quality Chat webinar continues on May 8, from noon – 1 p.m. ET, with “Subject Matter Eligibility: Revised Guidance in view of Berkheimer v. HP, Inc.
The USPTO Deputy Commissioner for Patent Examination Policy Bob Bahr will discuss the USPTO’s recently-issued memorandum implementing changes to examination procedure in view of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit decision in Berkheimer v. HP, Inc. This judicial decision provides clarification on the subject matter eligibility analysis. Please send your input and questions to patentquality@uspto.gov before and during the event.
This webinar is useful for anyone prosecuting patent applications or with an interest in statutory compliance with 35 U.S.C. § 101.
