Learn about the Collaborative Search Pilot program

Learn how you can receive accelerated examination and search results from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), the Japan Patent Office (JPO), and the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) early in the examination process. Join the USPTO on May 18, 24, or 26 for an information session on the Collaborative Search Pilot (CSP) work sharing program.

You can use the CSP to access a more comprehensive prior art search by combining the search expertise of examiners at the USPTO, the JPO, and the KIPO before issuing a first office action.

Space is limited. For more information and to register, visit the CSP webpage on the USPTO website.

Please send questions to OIPC@USPTO.gov.
